Sunflower Showdown - KSU vs. KU - Football

Today I traveled 90 minutes east on I-70 to the wonderful city of Lawrence to photograph the "Sunflower Showdown." K-State came into the game ranked 11th in the latest BCS polls, and the Kansas Jayhawks have been struggling. From start to finish, the Wildcats took care of the Jayhawks quite easily. I have been to Lawrence many, many times, but today was my first time inside of Memorial Stadium. I was really surprised by the lack of attendance, and how there were seemingly more K-State fans than KU. The final score was, 59-21, in favor of K-State, and the Wildcats remain undefeated at, 7-0. Next weekend Oklahoma comes to Manhattan for a tough game. (Although, as I write this OU is currently losing late in the 4th quarter)
